GAIA EMEA Member Meeting 2026 — The Power of Influence

The Power of Influence: GAIA’s 2026 EMEA Member Meeting comes to London

This year, GAIA will bring members together in London for the 2026 EMEA Member Meeting, a two‑day event centred on a theme that sits at the heart of great advice, strong leadership, and meaningful connection: The Power of Influence.

Designed to be practical, engaging, and thought‑provoking, this year’s programme will invite attendees to reflect on both the personal and professional dimensions of influence. Across the two days, the content will blend personal development with applied communication skills, offering ideas and tools that participants can take back into their firms, teams, and client relationships.

Day one will be led by Reuben Milne of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), who will facilitate a dynamic workshop focused on personal branding. Through interactive sessions, attendees will explore how to better understand and articulate their personal brand, strengthen their professional presence, and enhance the impact they have on colleagues and clients alike. The emphasis will be on practical application—helping participants define and communicate who they are, what they stand for, and how they show up in their day‑to‑day work.

On day two, Christian Newton and David Swanwick of Dimensional Fund Advisors will continue GAIA’s Art of Persuasion journey. Building on the foundations established in previous workshops, the session will take a deeper dive into the behaviours and frameworks that underpin influential communication. Participants can expect a highly practical and interactive experience, exploring advanced techniques for engaging clients, shaping conversations, and communicating with clarity and confidence in increasingly complex environments.

But as with every GAIA gathering, this event is about more than content alone. The EMEA Member Meeting is also an opportunity to reconnect with peers, exchange perspectives, and learn from one another in an environment shaped by openness, curiosity, and collaboration. Bringing together members from across the region, the meeting offers a valuable space to step back from day‑to‑day demands and engage in conversations that can inspire fresh thinking and lasting progress.

At its core, The Power of Influence reflects GAIA’s wider purpose: better firms, better advisers, deeper communities. By focusing on how influence can be used thoughtfully and effectively, the meeting aims to support members in creating stronger firms, building richer client relationships, and contributing to more connected professional communities.

We look forward to welcoming members for what promises to be a highly engaging and valuable two days.
